anydifference between ide/sata/sata2 speeds?

what performance difference is there between ide133 sata-150 and sata2-300

i think there is a noticible difference between ide and sata but not sata and sata2

None of them actually achieves the data throughput of the ATA100 spec, however there is a noticable increase in throughput between Parallel ATA drives and SATA drives. SATA2 drives have a slightly higher throughput than SATA, although the increase is marginal.
