Hi all,
i've installed active directory on a w2k3 os, joined the domain from a
client (w2k3), but in the client windows logon if i try to access as
DOMAIN\user i receive an error similar to (i've translated it from italian):
Name or protection ID (SID) not coherent with the domain trust
If i go to the domain controller events viewer, i can see that the access is
successfull.
What's the problem?
Thanks,
Mik

Joun,

1. What is the OS on your client computer? Is it a 2K3 member server or a
client OS?
2. Are you selecting the domain in the dropdown rather than the local
computer?

Can you give us the original text of the error message? even if its in
Italian...

1. The client is a 2k3 pc, and it is a domain member;
2. Yes.

The error message is:
Impossibile accedere.
Nome o ID di protezione (SID) fornite dal dominio non coerente con il trust
per il dominio.

Thanks
