Such, prudeness!! Good article though. Although the argument can be made that online gaming and live video feeds through IM's is a major rerason for the Broadband push.
I once heard that 70 sum percent of internet traffic is pornography related. That is a MAJOR push. Everything else seems minor compared to that. If you wanna look at numbers, check out the
Google Trends tool. Compare "porn" with anything else. It will dwarf anything you can think of.
It seems like porn has been the decciding factor for several major tech breakthroughs that are entertainment related. Its why very few people have Beta-Max, and noone has seen a new video for it in decades.
As for the article? Seeing how so much internet traffic is generated by adult websites, it would seem quite pertinent to the subject of internet reporting. While this article lacked some focus (too many distractions?), they did try to talk about the hardware of the site. Something that I imagine is very hard to do when you are sitting in a porn studio. They probably did the best they could to keep on track while not looking like total dorks. Surely the hardware could be covered better, but its a server room! Much less interesting than whats going on down the hall...
