With all the HUGE and HEAVY CPU coolers out there, anybody know any high quality CPU coolers that fits the maximum recommended wieght specification for a cpu cooler +/- 30 grams. Must be 4 pin .

Is there a reason that you want to stick within the recommended weight guidelines? If you aren't moving your case a lot(LAN parties, etc.), then you should be safe with heavy coolers as well. I would try not to go over ~750grams. Thermalright XP-120, or SI-120 are great coolers and lightweight(XP=370g, SI= 400g), as they're all-aluminum fins except for the copper base. GL
Well, I like being in guidelines and not much of an overclocker. I just want something silent and works. Can you mount a fan onto those thermalright heatsinks? If so then can u recommend one?

Yes, a 120mm, and therefore even a silent 120mm fan will likely keep your CPU cool, without overclocking. Another advantage they have is the wide wingspan of the 120. It blows down on the motherboard and helps keep the capacitors and even chipset cooler. Although they aren't the best of the best anymore, they are still in the top 10, and can be nearly silent as well as being light.
Well if you want something huge you can't go past the Tuniq Tower 120, its 798g without a fan. Its an awesome cooler, my friend got one the other week.

thats huge. i wanted one newegg doesnt carry them :
Zalman 7700 Cu doesn't weigh much, and it does a good job of cooling chips around the CPU, like the RAM. don't know the spec on it, just know it's a lot lighter than the Noctua NH-12, which - with the proper fan mounting - has a very respectable low measured thermal resistance - .14 degrees C per watt.

Heh, I still do remember holding it, thinking dang... if this copper fins were more like razors, I'd be in serious trouble.
Since my board had the 478 retention brackets, the weight wasn't really going to be that much concern to me. On a different socket setup, perhaps I would have the same concern of warping the board.
I am going with the Thermalright SI-120 or XP-120. But I am having trouble trying to find PWM fans to connect to by CPU fan socket. Anybody know of one?
