Hi all,
Hoping someone can help me here. I have a Lexmark Z615 printer and a
computer running Win98SE.
Ever since I got the printer, I've had trouble printing. Everything
will *appear* to go fine, but the printer will simply cease printing in
the middle of a page.
Even more annoying, when I bring up the printer window to delete the
document, the document won't delete (or pause) from the window.
The status will change to "Deleting" (or "Paused" ) but it won't
actually delete.
The only way I've found to free things up is to reboot.
When I do this, I'm generally told that PSWX (I think) is "not
responding" and I have to click "end task" to terminate it.
I rang Lexmark and they said it was a known issue, and I should
download the installation software from their site.
Did so, unintalled the old software, reinstalled the new software --
and no change!
Does anyone know of a patch or work around which will make this printer
compatible with my Win98SE system?
