hmm, never had that happen to me before. i believe i have seen a tracking cookie kicking about my system but zonealrm gets rid of it and generally stop anything like that happening.
have you got all updates for spybot or have you considered not being a cheapskate and paying for some security 
Um....Spybot S&D has been a fine compliment to my security set up....And as for cheapskate....I do send the dude $35 a year.... cash....I forget if he's a Scott or Irishman but either way he cracks the mold of them all being in a drunken stupor 24-7....It's non cheapeskates like me that enable people like Wusy to run it for free.
