P5N32 for Conroe 6600 ?

looks like the 6600 @ 2.4 GHz & about $300 is a good choice for me.

so now i'm wondering - which motherboard supports it ?

a follow-on question - which motherboard supports it, without a BIOS revision ?

i looked at the Asus website - they don't specifically say, yes, the P5N32 supports the Conroe 6600.

nope, none of the nForce 4 motherboards will support the Intel Conroe... if you want to sli then your going to have to use a nForce 500

actually i don't care if it has the nVidia chipset - i like the power processing circuitry on the P5N32, delivers clean voltages etc.

maybe i should ask - which Asus MB will support Conroe ?

The only mobo that is on ASUS's website that says it support the Core 2 Duo is the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe... it is a 975x chipset so it supports Ati Crossfire
