Hello, in this pic:

for the 1st cable, the one on the very left i was wondering what it did. Would i be able to plug my xbox 360 into it and play my xbox on the monitor?

yes you would, and if you have the right player (that will display ur xbox games on the pc monitor) you can even record your footage onto your computer like a tivo. Then make some cool game movies of some of your most wicked gameplay(s).

With that ccable though, you need to make sure you have an s-video port on your graphics card. Today it's pretty standard, so you should have it.

Your graphics card has to have vivo(video in, video out) capabilities. The guy posting above giving you advice is a n00b.

Most of the time, the s-video plug you see on graphics cards is for TV output, not for any type of input.

No vivo - no plugging in your console.
