I've just ordered a Motorola V525. Unlike my old phone, it does not have
infrared, only bluetooth. Will I be able to beam from phone to Ipaq? I have
2002, although I don't believe that makes a difference anyway. Can anybody
help me please?

Yes. In worst case, if it really not working, buy Peacemaker from
www.conduits.com and it will begin to work.

The 3850 does not have bluetooth, that was on the 3870 model. If your
phone does not have infrared but only bluetooth then you will need a
bluetooth cf card and ipaq jacket or something similar.

Uh-oh, I did not notice that you were talking about a 3850. My suggestion
will not work, forget it. You will need to get a Bluetooth card for your
Pocket PC in order to do Bluetooth transfers to the phone.

Josie,

I did not notice this was a 3850. You will need a Bluetooth card, and you
will not need the software I suggested.

Sorry for misleading you.

Thanks all. I now have the phone, and as you said, I'll need a CF bluetooth
card. In the meantime I've set up email from the phone in order to send pics
via email. It's not perfect but gives me time to find good prices. Thanks
again.
