adventures continued...i dont remember doing that!!!

so since people haven't been able to provide any support for my task of voltmodding my a8n-sli board.(quite disappointing but ill live).. i decided to do it anyway..

it began with a beer.. maybe 2.. come to think of it.. it was more like half a slab.. but hey.. i remember beginning the mod.. finding that my crud soldering iron's tip was about 3 times bigger than the point i needed to solder.. oh crap... i started it.. had trouble getting it done.. then blank. dont remember a thing...

.. i ended up waking up under a coffee table at a friends house about 1 and a half hours trip from where my computer was.. on the floor next to a couch with a girl about my age and a dalmation licking my head..hmm.. thats odd..

so i trek home.. swing by jaycar and buy a new soldering iron which has a very nice 2or so needle tip...

get back to my computer.. see it in my cupboard and think to myself .. hmmm. thats odd.. pull it out turn it on .. and magically.. i managed to perform the volt mod yet not being able to actually remember doing it..

fantastic.

now i can boot at 2.8(yet it is unstable.. but can bench at 2.78 in sisandra..

and my mod seems to go a bit higher than what people have reported on vr-zone which is where i found it originally(but will broken image links,, at least for me)

i can get above 2v but i shit my pants and decide thats a bit too far...

anyway.. thats my story...

nah that new soldering iron is actually quite good... id been meaning to get a new one for ages...

wow.. thats soo cool.. im so excited.. i should try that out more.. or do i have a limit of voltmod wishes.. i should have saved up to use it on something better!!! damn it!! grr!!
