Look at a X1900 All In Wonder by ATI.
For a HD, I would recommend a Seagate SATA HD, but then again, whatever your mobo's gonna support.
for a case look at xoxide.com
ram try Corsair XMS 2GB
Wait until Intel's new Conroe comes out in 23-30 days, then you can either get the new processor or get processors out now at prices so low you think it's a scam.

PSU: try Antec or Enermax on newegg and see which is better for u

Suggestions:

E6600, 4 MB of cache...the 6400 only has 2mb (not that that's little :)

What games are you going to be playing? (if any?)
An X1800XT performs at par with a 7900GT, and with even better picture quality (on RPGs). A 7900 GT oc's better, though. I would get eVGA as a good solid brand, but go with XFX/BFG for ocing...

Also, heard the 7900 GT eVGA's have artificing and some other problems...

Corsair has some problems with Intel.....def. the best with AMD, though.

Try a SATAII 160GB seagate wth NCQ

THe enermax noisetaker 485W or antec truepower series are very reliable.

My Bad :)

Anyway, if you don't mind taking advice from a middle school self-proclaimed tech whiz, 1300$ can get you a X1800XT (around $220). Also, what types of games do you play, as it matters for a GPU choice...

A X1800XT is almost certainly the best P.vP.R. card for Oblivion - try for a 512MB version, although the 256MB will be quite competent.

Also, (if you know what I'm talking about), the X1K can do both AA and HDR simultaneously, so the graphics quality will be overall superior (not that you can actually do them both at "highestest" settings - food for thought.)

It's the best thing my shitty Dell has!

not bad, you didnt mention a case

since u have a dell i HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTNG A NEW CASE

if u into plain and conservative (looking, but excellent perforance) get a lian li- they are like 120 bux or u can grab a centurion 532 (by coolermaster) for like 50 bux after the newegg rebate - this case has front and back 120mm fans with some side duckage (im probably gonna ducttape those off) and it seems of very high quality as i am looking at mine now.

of course you could get one that looks like it was built by aliens and lights up the entire house

i also just bought a hiper 580w modular psu. very nice. 100$. Id recoommend it. Even tho there must hav ebeen something wrong with the one toms reviewed becasue the volatage was Fd up on that one but mine is solid and neat
