New P4 socket 478 MB

I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard with my existing chip. I am new at this so if someone could suggest a good motherboard geared to gaming would be appreciated.

What are the specs for the rest of your system? It sounds like it may be more worthwhile for you to just switch platforms all-together.

Abit IC7G

IC7G is a nice MB but only has AGP, instead of PCIe. (just get a decent 6800 ultra or 7800GS etc will still kick some assss)

The best thing about this MB is its OC ability and easy Bios.....

If you have a raptor forget about this MB..... incompatibility issues.

Prob one of the best 478 MBs ever made.....

Till Today, I think 478 P4C is the best CPU Intel came up with.
Northwood 3.4 will give you very good performance, I have a PC with the 3.2, till you the truth, I think it is great.
I am using Gigabite Mobo, but I don't think they are easy to find, I don't think 875P is still out there, but 865PE is planty good.
I would say, try this Asus :
