Hi...

Im having problems getting over 3.6Ghz. 3.6Ghz is at 1.336Vcore FSB: 180. If i Oc more i can get into windows and run sisoft, but then my score drops. I have quite high temperature about 60 degrees so im thinking thats the problem? I have mounted an external temp. Probe on the side of the cpu and taken the temp. from there.

My rig:

Asus P5WD2-P Newest bios
pentium 805 D
2 x 512 Corsair XMS2 - 6400
Sapphire X850XT PE
2 Sata disks
Power: chill 510watt

Hope someone can help me further....

Probably CPU is throttling. Remove the heatsink, and clean off the stock thermal interface material. Apply some Arctic Silver 5(buy it first..~$10). Make sure you apply it nice and evenly, and paper thin. Reboot, and monitor your temps again. If this hasn't helped, then you're going to need better cooling. GL :)
