price concern..

In our country, Pentium D 930 (3.0) procs costs around $200 but the Pentium D 830 (3.0) is around $230. Does this mean that 830 is a better proc than 930 since the latter is cheaper..?

I dont know if this should make sense since 930 has 2mb while 830 has 1mb only. also 930 is built on the new 65nm design while 830 is 90nm.

Or is it because of the demand of the procs in our country? do they have the same price comparison in your country..?

I havent really seen any reviews on the comparison of these two procs. maybe you can shed some light on this matter coz im quite confused..

No they just want you to but the 930 cause it's newer.

The 930 is better because it has 2x2MB L2 cache, and the 65nm process which means that it runs cooler. Look here for a performance comparison.

Yeah the 930 is much better. It throws off less heat, and overclocks better than the 830.
