Will Conroe have quad core? Or will it be just dual and single core.

I don't believe Conroe will.

But I remember something of an article stating Intels plans.

Kentsfield will have Quad Core:

That article is old though - December 4, 2005.

And the Kentsfield isn't suppose to be around till 2007, heh so it says.

IIRC, initially, dual core. Later on, single core. Then quad core Kentsfield by this year end or early next year.

Kentsfield, though quad core, will not be native quad core. In the Horde's words, it will be just a couple of Conroes stuck with superglue.

Native quad cores in H2 2007, with 45nm.

But I perused the thread, and the guy "Coolaler" has his own website...all in Chinese, of course...I think the guy is just connected.
