I agree, the E6600 seems to be the sweet-spot for price/performance. The main advantage of the E6700, is if you want to overclock through the roof, it has the higher multiplier needed for higher speeds.Go for the E6600, then overclock it. The 6700 is identical to the 6600, just clocked higher, but you're paying more for a higher stock speed. Not worth it IMO when the Conroe's have been shown to have good overclocking potential.
