Is a geforce 6200 with 256 ram better than one with 128 ram?

Hi,

Will an extra 128mb ram make any difference with this card ?

- XFX geforce 6200 64bit 128/256 ram AGP £31/39 (inc. VAT)

His desktop resolution is 1280x1024. My friend doesn't game much but he does play age of empires 2. If there are better graphics cards at this price range please recommend me.

Hardly, on a low end card such as that u need not more then 128Mb.
Adding more will only increase perofrmance by a small ammount.

The extra memory will make next to no difference.

dude low end cards have only a little gain of memory ,you wont get FPS increase but it allows to run bigger games marginally

Thanks alot. My friend is upgrading from a geforce 2 so a 6200 is still a big jump for him. I'll take the 128mb one then.
