I Just go a U2-UFO Opti from Mountain Mods, Ive been looking for a nice LCD screen to fit into 2 or 3 of the drive bays but I have only found some of the 2 tone kind. Does anyone know where I might be able to find something with more colors? Or any good sites that I can read up on the subject?

well my main reason for wanting to do this is simple, my case is an 18x18x18" cube and I have 10 bay drives to fill. This was one of the things I thought of doing unless I find any better ideas

I saw an article on Anantech a while ago about Computex 2006 where Thermaltake were showing off their latest multimedia PC Chassis' and they had installed a very cool looking Full Colour Display into a drive bay of their Mozart dual mobo chassis and also their SFF chassis, links below.

After finding the article and re-reading it I am not 100% sure it would fit into a 5 1/4" (not 5 3/4" as ur post states ;-) ) as the screen is 7", they mention a 7" drive bay as well as the pictures show it being slighlty too big for the bay, but then again, it may just be the cover that is larger.

The price seemed quite reasonable as Thermaltake is expecting to sell this retractable 7 inch LCD unit as a separate option for around US $250.

I hope this steers you in the right direction.

you do know you dont have to fill the drive bays. They can be empty.

ever think about adding fans there?

It's a 5 1/4" bay, not 5 3/4...5.25=5 1/4 as 0.25 is 1/4 of 1 ;-)

that concludes our lesson on imperial measurements, tomorrows lesson will be...The metric system and you ;-)

lol
