I've narrowed my graphics choices down to these options and like to know if there is a clear advantange to one of my choices?

1. $300 - I can get 2 GeForce 7600GS 512MB 16x PCI express cards to go on my SLI motherboard that has one 16x PCI express slot and one 8x PCI express slot.
OR
2. $300 - I can get 1 GeForce 7900GT 256MB 16x PCI express card to go on my SLI motherboard that has one 16x PCI express slot and one 8x PCI express slot.

For the same price, is the dual 7600GS better than the single 7900GT?

Another choice to to spend $130 more on the SLI motherboard that has two 16x PCI express slots?
Would the extra $130 for both 16x slots improve my first choice enough to justify the extra $130?

Thanks for the reply,
Kevin

Go with the single 7900GT. Two mid-range crap cards ARE NOT worth it.

I'd have to agree with prozac26. Go for the single 7900GT.

I agree. It'll be fast, but not nearly as fast as the 7900 GT. Two 7600 GTs won't beat a single 7900 GT, so you can imagine how two lower cards will do...

Under the most perfect SLI conditions, two 7600GT might outperform a 7900GT. But the 7900GT is a safe choice.

Thanks for the advice, I will certainly go for the single 7900GT graphics card!!!!
