Core 2 duo - run on 975X and LGA 755

hi there does anyone know whether core 2 duo CPU will run on a LGA 755 motherboard with a 975x chipset

The word around now says it will. Those boards are expensive, and that would be terrible if they didn't.

Be carefull as some supplier still have revision 303 and you'll need to mod it in order to run Conroe.

Also apparently some new Rev305 are starting to float around.

Best idea is to wait for Nf5,new Ati's chipset and intel 965. Especially if you dont need CorssFire, and you want SLi/ single card. These motherboards should be release pretty soon!
