Conroe Mboard

i plan to take a Pentium D 805.
Which motherboard should i take to be able to install a Core Duo 2 (conroe) chip???

Right nwo only the Intel 975X rev 3.04 will work with Core 2. There will eb more released after next week though so you may want to wait.

It is definenlty a dood idea to wait. I am waiting to see how the new nvidia chipset does along with the ATI version.

They will start out at from $220 for the entry level dual cores to $550 for the top of the line desktop E6700 chips (non-EE)...
Within a couple of weeks should start becoming available for shipments... and some sites are already taking orders...
