Hello.
I'm trying to setup up my webserver for my webpage with IIS but i can't.
Someone have sucessfully setup the IIS on XP PRO ??

I have this computer and other connected both to a switch and the switch to an ADSL Router (ZyXel Prestige 645)

Help me with this.

P.D: When i put the name of this computer on IE opens my web page but i can't view from internet by my IP.

can you telnet to port 80? If so, at least IIS is started correctly.

IIS is workin corrrently if ya can put the computer name on the IE addressline and your home page pops up. It will do the same it when using its Lan IP.
IIS sounds setup oka nd good to go on the XP box.

Now to access it from the WAN, externally, Port Forwarding on the router will have to be set up to send external(Wan) requests to that particluar XP box on in Internal Lan... Read your router doc for port forwarding and forward port 80(http) and port 21(ftp) to the xp box's Lan IP - and then your on the WAN!!!
That's about it!
