Hello ppl, i looked but couldnt find a thread for this so...

I have a opt 165 stock and i do night after night worth of video editing and compression.

I was wondering if i can overclock the thing but i feel that my ram is a limiting factor. So my question is what ram should i get to achieve approx 2.2ghz or higher (hear ppl can hit 2.7ghz, 2.6ghz etc... i dont like 1.8ghz). or can i do it with the ram i have now (a tad tight on cash). I would prefer to be able to use the ram i have now and the stock hs/f (willing to budge if i have to on the hs/f) even if there is a slight hit in optimum overclock performance (also prefer to keep Cas at 2 if possible)

Specs.
Antec 500w psu
OCZ Enhanced Latency 1GB (2x512) PC3200 CAS 2-3-2-6
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra
AMD Opteron 165 (2x1mb cache, 1.8ghz, 9x multiplier)
Video card/DVD ROM/floppy/hds u know, the stuff that doesnt matter

If you need anything else, Please ask, ill be happy to share.

You should have no trouble getting 2.25 with the stock cooling.
I doubt you'll get that memory to 250, maybe with a divider and looser timings.
I went with the ddr500 to get the 1:1 ratio. Haven't tried higher but there seems to be room as I still have some room on the volts.

ehhh i dont wanna spend money. and i dont wanna mess with dividers... the ram's spd came up as 3-3-3-8 so im a lill hesitant to do anything with it now... I think waht im doing now is a overclock as it is.
