I will admit I do not know much about which slots are which, but what are the 2 small black slots between the white and blue slots?

The blue one is PCI-E 16x
The 2 black slots are PCI-E 1x
The other slots are regular PCI

What is the advantage of the 965 chipset over the current chipsets that also support Conroe? If one wanted to use crossfire or SLI then you cannot get a 965 mobo.

Since it seems that with GPU's like the 7950 ("SLI on one card") are the way of the future does it really matter?? (yea, I know...this is a big topic on the video card forum).

965 is the one that offically supports core 2 and will be more of the mainstream board using the intel chipset.

anand tech doesnt say it supports 2 gfx cards... let alone Crossfire.

The GA-965p-DQ6 has two PCIe x16 slots, I have it, but I an only running one GPU, if it dosen't support crossfire/SLI now I'm sure it's only a bios flash away.

DQ6 @ newegg = $269.99

I dunno why it so high at newegg since ewiz sells them for $220...

As of lately, there have been some not so good rep for dq6 in comparison with asus p5wd board, in terms of overclocking and performance as seen here. The ds3 at a much cheaper price has had more press b/c of an overclock to 480+ fsb... So I dunno if I want to get this board nemore... :?
