Long story short Pentium D 930 and OCZ 2x 1gig ddr 6400 (800).

Snagged up a zalman 9500 air cooler and a great abit motherboard (specs I think are in my sig)

Here is my problem, after reading many overclocking articles how-to's and how-not's, Im not really sure where to start. Im looking for a good article or someone to give me a fast rundown on where to start.

Also from what I understand the abit MB im getting comes with software to overclock via windows. Should I just stick with that?

After reading around a bit I found that some people suggested "burning in" my system before overclocking. Is that suggested, and if so which programs should I use.

Currently, what do you all suggest keeping my temps at?

Links are loved, but input is desired =)

drop you multipler as low as it will go. then slowly raise your HTT (or fsb) make sure you lower the hyper transport bus freq. that will give you an idea of ur boards capable limits with out damaging the CPU. also dont be afraid to try new settings. the CMOS jumpers are there to save you.

and read the stickies.
