Hi to all,
We have a scenario, we put all servers in one sites but we have 2 location
500 miles apart. But some clients gets authenticated 500 miles from the
workstation. We are planning to build another site and move the server
dedicated for the new site. Is this plan is applicable. If yes how do I
start. Pls help.
Thanks

Yes, this is a very good idea!! It's essential actually!!

You start by creating a second site in dssite.msc. You then create a new
subnet and link the subnet to the correct site. You do this for all subnets
used in your organisation.

Once you've created the sites and subnets you need to move the server to it
both logically and physically. This article should help with this:

Hi! Is there any other approach about this scenario. The management did not
support my idea cause it is time consuming. Is it possible to set this in
DHCP server in options 15 we set the DNS server eg 192.10.10.0 to use the DNS
near to them. eg. L.A.and New York is on one site. I configure the L.A site
to use the DNS in L.A. first and if DNS is down in L.A. will go to New York
and vice versa to New york location. Is it possible. Thanks in advance!!
