Hi,
If I have already spent $140 on a very quiet 600watt PSU, is there a need to spent around $100 for a case or would a standard $30 case from my local store be quiet enough? I'm simply looking at setting up the quietest case and PSU for the money. I havn't purchased anything yet, and would ideally like to avoid modifications unless necessary.
Thanks,
Matt

PSU fans dont make much noise. case fans on the other hand do. P180 is the quietest case w/o modification.

Actually, the fans that make the most noise are the cpu and gpu fans.

If you want quiet then make sure as many fans as possible are 120mm.

If I have a Zalmann CPU fan, would I still need fans inside my casing. I'm running D805 OC'ed to 3.4 w/ above listed power supply.
Thanks,
Matt
