If I want to copy files between a friend's PC and my iPAQ rx3715 and I
don't want to install ActiveSync:
a) Can I use WiFi to share file? Do I need software?
b) Is there a USB cable (plus software on PPC) which makes my iPAQ to an
USB memory so that I can plug on XP for file transfer without driver?

Use a memory card and card reader.
The files don't need conversion to a PC readable format do they? Not all are
readable by desktop programs.
