Hi,
If I overclock my D805 to 3.6Ghz w/ stock cooling fan and 500watt power supply using ECS RC410L/800-M, how long will the system last? I don't want everything to run fine for 1yr and then blow up on me. Would adding Zalmann cooling fan make a large difference in terms of how long this system will last? Perhaps running at 3.4Ghz is better bet. For the price of Zalmann fan I can uprage to D930. WOuldn't that be a better overclocking option, go to 3.4 or 3.6 w/o Zalmann at lower CPU temps using D930 compared to 805 w/Zalmann?

I was reading on this site somewhere that if you overclock, then some sort of electomagnetic charges kill tiny bits of the chip and it gets slowly slower.

But i cant find it and i had been drinking at the time i read it about 2 weeks ago, so i might be very confused. :roll: :?
