"Device features a 1.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCyrstal LED-backlit LCD screen."

That first line had me, a 1.6" screen, wow, is it a watch?

The pricing is amazing :D I wonder how much profit they are making out of this, a Intel core processor with a 11.6 inch LED display and a 320 GB hdd with the other usual ports and stuff. Are they selling it at a loss?

BTW
"The C7, which is one-inch thin and weighs 3.05 pounds.." Thats like saying im 7 years young instead of old.

They are trying to be like Apple who, of course, always says things are "thin"

Not as amazing as Ultra HD on a 1366x768 resolution screen.

Why not call it 2160P on a 1366x768 screen? If you are making up numbers you might as well go all out.

I know what happened, the Tom's writer went on youtube and clicked the "1080p" options and thought it was right.

maybe they meant that the CPU can play 1080p content and when using HDMI or sub15 it can play at full resolution?

Can you install windows on that? Intel core processor? Even the google.com page does not specify which one. Cnet says its celeron 847 which puts it roughly 2x faster than atom 570 according to cpubenchmark.net. Now thats not bad.

Full HD playback via hdmi seams plausible of cpu info checks out.

I'd seriously consider getting one if w7 is an option.

This is essentially the same as the aspire one netbook with the same specs from what I hear. If you can manage a BIOS flash, i don't see why you couldn't put Windows on it.

for 200 bucks, I would rather get a desktop bottom bargain, and strp it to my TV.

If all you want to do is E-Mail, Videos, and some browsing the nexus 7 is 250 bucks, and the kindle fire is 200 bucks. I see those having amuch better user experiance then any chromebook.

Uh... I know Zak is a huge mac fan, but you'd think that even he would know that 1366 x 768 isn't 1080p even if it's possible to watch 1080p video on it, it's still 1366 x 768.
