Event 1586 on a Domain Controller

Hello. Here is the current environment of one of my clients:

- Windows 2000 Domain, Single Forest, Single Domain
- 4 Windows 2000 Domain Controllers and 1 BDC

Server1 - All FSMO roles except Schema Master, GC
Server2 - GC
Server3 - Schema Master Role
Server4 - GC
Server5 - NT BDC

On Server3 in the Event Log under Directory Service we get an Event 1586
every 4 hours. I have gone to the following link
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/q269417/ and read up on this.
After going into AD Sites and Services I looked at the replication and here
is what is going on.

To Server1 from Server2 and Server4
To Server2 from Server1 and Server3
To Server3 from Server2 and Server4
To Server4 from Server1 and Server3

After I drew this out on a white board with arrows it was determined that
Server1 (All FSMO roles except Schema Master) and Server3 (Schema Master
Role) do not replicate with each other. The Microsoft article describes what
needs to be done but does not list the steps to actually do it. I know that
this is probably a very simple procedure but can someone please walk me
through the steps. By the way, is this Event 1586 even worth worrying about?
Thanks. Corbin.

Corbin,

Did you use repadmin / showreps to determine which DCs are replication
partners with which other Domain Controllers?

Did you verify that each DC has an NTDS Settings underneath its object in
the Active Directory Sites and Services?

Did you run dcdiag /c /v on all of your WIN2000 Domain Controllers? And
netdiag /v?

What is not clear in the article that you mentioned?
