CAN i REVERSE 64 GB PROGRAM TO 32 GB ON WINDOWS 7

CAN i REVERSE WINDOWS 7 FROM 64 GB TO 32 GB OR DO i HAVE TO FORMAT & START AGAIN
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You mean from 64 bit to 32 bit? Then yes, a clean install is the only way to do this. There is no upgrade/downgrade option for this.

I updated from xp to 7 (64 bit). it knocked out my scanner
I think my scanner would run on 32 bit and I was looking for a short cut!

Oh well these things happen!

I tried to find a driver. the only one that worked was "Vuescan"
They want nearly $100 for the program.
I might as well buy a new scanner that has a "7" driver

What are the rest of your system specs? You might loose some useable RAM if you go from 64 bit to 32 bit.

Just plug in the printer or scanner, Windows should find appropriate drivers for it, and it should work.

In the future, try running the Win7 upgrade advisor. It will warn you of any hardware it can't find drivers for. You might still be able to find them on the manufacturer's web site, but windows has no native driver for it. At least it will make you aware of a potential problem.
