Question about Asus P5ND2 SLi

I'm planning to purchase this MB w/ D805 and oC to 3.6. Is this a good MB for doing that? The price is right so I hope it is. Anyone have 1st hand experince with that combo?

This board has passive cooling for the north bridge so you will have to replace it. Other than that it is a good board for overclocking, it certainly not the best but I like it.

If I have a Zalman CPU cooler, and a 500watt power supply w/ one rear case fan and CPU oC'ed to 3.4, should I be alright.. as in stable performance for at least 1yr?

it is a good one. But make sure to install the latest bios from Asus. I have been using p5nd2 sli deluxe edition for almost a year. I have problems with the bios in the beginning. Once the bios is updated to the latest version, i have no problem at all.
