Is Enterprise Edition better on Hardware than Std.? I know about the
features already (not what I am asking), but what I want to know if
Enterprise version is better for a single server with numerous server apps
than Standard.

I'm not aware of there being optimisations of the kind that you're asking.
If anything, enterprise is designed for multi-processor systems.
