Hey all, ive been having a problem with my aspire and i was wondering if u might be able to help me.
Every time i turn on the switch, the computer starts going on and off every 5 seconds or so... i have no idea what happend...

i just got the PSU! 7 or so days ago along with a MSI 945P a X800XL and a P805D
I burned it when it arrived and got it fixed the same day, then it ran fine for a few days, and now this...

PLEASE help, im a junky! 8O

if its exactly 5 seconds im gonna take a wild guess and say the button is literally getting *stuck* in the on position.

Didnt thought of that, any ideas for reparing it?

EASY... buy a new button or do a jump start everytime you want to start it .

beware of aspire as i had the same problem but with a 400w one and it turned out that the two capacitors were blown out. look at the power supply and c if there are any traces of the capacitor material spread all over the place.

I opened the PSU a little bit, only from the sidee, and every thing seemed fine...
