SATA data cables are not specific to certain generations of SATA drives. Any standard 7 pin SATA data cable will work fine. Your motherboard should have come with a such a cable. Use that. If your motherboard for some reason did not come with any SATA cables, you can pick one up here. Better yet..... pick up a few.
