Geez never had to really look at CPU's, never upgraded em...But now I'm building a system from scratch and I got to pick one. I don't need advice on which one to get (got a thread for that already).

I was hoping though that someone would be nice enough to give/point me to a crash course in what I'm looking at in Processors, beyond the clock speed. How do I tell equivalent CPU's over different upgrade paths (right term?)

Basically can someone explain what the other aspects CPU's are that I need to be looking for...

Thanks in advance
