More Information

I'm having a problem with a touchMate DVD that I have, It seems that when i shut down my PC when the drive is empty. It doesn't open up again unless (persuaded to) with a paper clip. However, If i shut down my pc with a cd or dvd in the drive, the problem never comes up.

I'm really frustated with this and looked all over the web for a solution but to no avail.please, HELP!!!
