When I send excel files from my I-mate the person receiving on a desktop
cannot read the file is there awork around HELP

Are you saving it as an Excel 97 file or as Pocket Excel? Try the
former. It should work fine.

The other thing that might be a problem, are the Excel files on the I-mate
saved as pocket Excel files (I forget the extension, but it begins with p,
something like .pxl) These files are unreadable by Excel on the desktop.
Normallt Word and Excel files are converted by Activestink going between the
desktop and the PPC. Since I use (both) SpreadCE and Planmaker on my PPC I
turn off the conversion as both of these perograms can open native Excel
files. These files could then be sent from a PPC (or Smartphone.)
