I keep getting the following error when trying to connect to AD mmc snap ins:
The Target Principle Name is not correct
I have run netdom to reset password, I have run DCDIAG and got the
following Error:
LDAP bind failed with error 31
Checked DNS, and run netdiag and gotten the following error:
------------------------------------
LDAP test. . . . . . . . . . . . . : Passed
[WARNING] Failed to query SPN registration on DC
'EXCHANGE.windows.bbsjax.co
m'.
[WARNING] Failed to query SPN registration on DC
'bullseye.windows.bbsjax.co
m'.
[WARNING] Failed to query SPN registration on DC
'lenox.windows.bbsjax.com'.

[WARNING] Failed to query SPN registration on DC
'dellwood.windows.bbsjax.co
m'.
-------------------------------------
I understand the last error, but dont know the SPN's to add in (if that is
the issue). Also, I have chekced the Operations master and it simply says
Error. I have looked all over and nothing seems to work. I do NOT want to to
a reinstall as one document says, that shouldnt be a final answer. In any
case. Any help is greatly appreciated

Cheers

I would say that 9 times out of 10, one of the solutions in the article
will resolve this issue...

Well, I went down the list as mentioned. I found a few things.
a) there was nothing in the hklm/security.
b) could not access adsi all i get is target principle name is incorrect
c) Dns is set up properly
d) reset machine password successfully

I appreciate the help so far, but alas, not success

You need to give administrators Full Control of the Security key before
you will be able to see the subkeys.
