Hi!

I voted 'Need more time to decide'

So many posts to read... His style sometimes seems to be incompatible. I have to admit that a few times I just didn't get why he answered to another post in a certain way.

It might be a cultural thing, or the fact that he seems to be in the very need to answer to every post, because he feels very strong about his case.

Often I thought it's a language related misunderstanding that made him fire back on something that was never meant insulting. But then he says it's not...

From the threads I can see that a rational discussion with him sometimes seems to be impossible for others.

I probably wrote more than I should. Anyways, I need more time to decide what to do.

I agree Fredi. I posted some information this morning regarding the Korea/AMD <i>crisis</i> that should make him a little more agreeable. I believe he just want to be heard on this matter, but he is a terrible communicator.

I read some of the postings in this thread. Some guys judge about a person about whom they do not understand enough.

Whether one feels I do not listen to others or not, I will go on saying what I think is right. I was not feeling "cornered." I just have been reading THG Community for very long. I encountered some kind of people who really enjoy attacking others who do not agree with them on some technologies or political ideas. I don't think I was discussing too deeply here. I just posted a few hundreds. Most were not my personal opinions but what I thought I needed to say here. Some guys attacked me not because what they thought was wrong about me but what they did not want to see here mentioned openly. They just didn't want to see something that may harm AMD's reputation. If some people can say I am a "terrible communicator" maybe it's true in the sense that I did make some people angry by pointing out how AMD processors are so fragile and AMD has been slow and evasive... I did it partly in anger and that was maybe a tactically wrong thing to do especially in a forum virtually dominiated by those who love and support AMD.

THG is hardly a "strange" place for me. Actually, I feel more at home here than most places I've ever been. I was in the ROK Army when I believed the worst thing I could do as a living and conscious human being was to a soldier there.

Logic is no more logical if one confuses it with emotion. People do it always. It's always a good thing to go back to the beginning and think everything over.

What you said was about me and what some guys judged or tried to judge about me. So I just said what I think about myself and what others said about me. The subject was me, not you.

Kennyshin, I'm glad hear that vendors are apologizing to their customers and maybe you'll recognize that the vendors might be at fault. This is a good step. One must recognize that it could be either party at fault. Even with the cultural differences, business is business, and I believe the vendors have been screwing you.

This started out with you being asked to post some links and I don't think that was so much to ask. You were then asked to try and look at it from another point of view, a reasonable view, but you attacked us instead. You used some rather inappropriate arguments that inflamed several of us. It's not personal, it's a matter of you acting in a horrible manner and several of us not liking it.

Don't think about it as if we're defending AMD. We're merely pointing out that you were one sided and were by many definitions spamming the boards. When others started verifying and shedding more light on your story, we continued to give you our opinion and advice.

I of course, and I stated this, understand that Koreans are upset. That's no surprise. I do believe you have gone around this in the wrong way though. First of all, we can't do anything for you but give you our point of view and "hopefully" some usefull advice, and second of all you placed all blame on AMD, when it seems to me that the only blame they should take is being too generous to the Korean market up until now.

I might be completely wrong. If I am I'll admit it, but with the evidence I've seen so far I've stated my opinion and I'll stand by it until I'm shown something that convinces me otherwise. Whether it's AMD or not does not matter. Whether it's Koreans or not does not matter.

Mat this may be the only time I ever disagreed with you, but I beleive you should cut the slack off Kenny once and for all, as I beleive he has learned his lesson, and that he just was angry. I also would appreciate you releiving your anger a bit, and omit the cursing here. I really think you should just calm down and let Kenny roam, and please remove him from the list if you still have a little bit of kindness. Please.

I will observe him around the boards to see, if he DOES act again with troll-posts or attacks at AMD, then I will gladly retract this post off and you can go back to your main point, but until then, he IS ok for now. So please again, calm down and at least forget whatever happened before.

Ban him. I'm not quite sure he is a troll himself but he is a troll defender. Plus most of his posts are spam/flames. It is rather annoying to try to sort through all his posts to find informative posts.

I'm with you on this one. It's one thing to be mad at AMD, but it's another to defend the truly indefensible Intel zealots/trolls like AMDMeltdown. If Kennyshin's been lurking for as long as he says (and I'm quite sure he's honest on this point), he should know better.
