Would someone please advise and wise me up about the best voltage, CAS latency and timing for 2 Gigs of RAM for an ASUS A8N5X mobo (with AMD 64X2-3800) that I will be using for stock and currency trading via the net. I'll be using multi monitors with a 2D graphics card. I'm not a gamer. I'm probably more interested in reliability than ultimate speed but don't mind fast of course.

Stock and currency is mostly multiple 2D charts, not 3D.

I don't understand what CAS latency or timing 2.3.3.6. vs 3.3.3.8 means or if one is better than the other or if it matters that much. Same for voltage, 2.6 volts vs 2.75 volts.

I'm thinking of Corsair Twinx2048-3200c2pt or TWINX2048-3200 or Twinx2048-3200c2. Is this a good brand?

Any other suggestions for this mobo and cpu combo?

Thank you for your time and knowledge.

essentially, you want lower voltage ram (because lower voltage tends to mean less heat) and the lower the timings, the better.

This set of OCZ DDR400 has awesome timings at a modest voltage. 2.6 is about the middle in terms of ram voltages.... some DDR sets go as low as 2.3V, some as high as 2.8. Most 2GB sets are in the 2.5-2.6 range.
