Hi there,

A Company I am involved with uses iPAQ's and a modem to dial in to the
office and sync with the office PC.

Recently we have started to have problems syncing to the iPAQ's in the
field.

When they are bought in and the partnership re-established in the cradle we
dial up again but the partnership still does not work.

Someone mentioned there was an expiry time of 12 months on ActiveSync but I
have never heard of this?

Fact or fiction?

Thanks & regards,

Hi,
Have you tried using VxUtil from www.cam.com to confirm that you can ping
the desktop by IP address and name when you are dialed up?

The name resolution via WINS is required to sync.
