Is there a better heatsink/fan for AM2 than the Zalman CNPS 9500? I cannot find many others besides the Thermaltake Mini Typhoon.

thanks

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro is good. It will work on AM2 right now, but there is an AM2-specific version around the corner. Costs a little more than half of the Zalman and has close performance in both noise and cooling. Make sure you get some Zalman paste, beats MX-1 and Arctic Silver silly.

I think Noctua NH-U12 could be used on AM2, not entirely sure tho.

With 120mm Scythe 8.7dB it makes my Opteron 170 quite cooler then any other cooler i tryed. (last i used was Cooler Master Hyper 48 but must get rid of it bcause it make my memory and pasive heatpipe chipset cooler hot due to bad air circulation - bad orientation for pasive ASUS A8N32SLI deluxe)
