Hello,

My company is in the process of creating an extranet by making Oracle
databases available at the internet. One requirement is that all our
representatives should be able to logon to these databases with their login
accounts they use internally as well.

Can somebody tell my how to accomplish this and what is advisable? Do I have
to create a total new domain tree or forest?

Thanks for your answer.

If you are willing to spend some cash you could use Open Networks UIdP.
This is what we do, using Oracle as well. We have users both internally and
externally controlled access to secured web pages. The controls are in the
perimeter and AD is safely inside the firewall. This product is written by
a Gold Partner. There is pain in installing it. I don't think the
documentation is very well written. Tech support is great though.
