After quite a lot of ram selection I settled the RAM mentioned in the poll. The SLI but slower freq and more expensive - and the non-SLI cheaper and higher frequency ... Which should I get?

pfffffffffffft. first off, nForce 590 is the professional edition of the nForce chipsets, you can't even get enthusiast/gaming boards with that chipset.

2nd... the ONLY advantage is that the BIOS will detect the correct SPD (guaranteed). they fail to mention that all u really need to do is set the speeds manually if they're not detected.

get the non-SLI crap. this "SLI" memory is a gimmick.
