Asus M5 Laptop
512MB RAM
30GB HDD
Pentium M 1.60Ghz CPU
Windows XP Pro
(has had no other hardware upgrade apart from using an external mouse, flash disk,SD card, web cam and external harddrive)
i did a reformat and reinstalled windows xp pro just a few days ago to clean my system out. it worked after the third attempt, and now works like a normal laptop should....except....
when i plug the laptop into the power mains and press a button, and it loses power and automatically boots back up to a blue "scandisk for errors screen". when windows finally boots up it come up with a screen that says this:
Batterylife
Open Power Policy File Error
OK
then i press OK and all works normally.
is this a problem with my power supply? or a software problem?
