Can remote client join my ADS Domain?

I have a remote client that is trying to join my ADS domain. If the remote
client is using an IPSec solution (not VPN) to speak to the DC's and has the
correct IP of the DNS servers for the domain configured on his client, but
his IP address isn't part of any defined subnets within my ADS, will this be
a problem?

Not the subnet issue.

Your remote client can join your domain IF your
routing and name resolution work, and if your firewalls
don't offer any restrictions that interfere.

DNS is the most likely issue, right routing and filters
close behind.
