I am needing to purchase some fast or broadband satellite data
connection for use in Europe and Eastern Europe Serbia

I would like to be able to use Skype over this connection!

Has anyone got experience of using Voip over satellite data connection?

I am looking at the BGAN system in particular using thuraya

Thanks for your help

Latency on a satellite link will likely make it unusable for VOIP.
The imarsat satellites that BGAN uses are (I think) in geosync orbit,
