I'm just waiting for either newegg or tigerdirect to get them. I just rust those oher sites, not to say you won't get what you ordered. Tankguyz seems ok. What are their return policies?

Don't preorder. It might take longer to ship to you than newegg.

I thought the price for the E6300 was going to be $183?

I think it's worth paying up for the E6600, ~$340. The performance jump is expected to be pretty good, but who knows until the facts are released.

I've never heard of the other sites, and that's why I asked. The # of reviews indicate they are legit.

So you guys would recommend waiting then? What about the Intel Bad Axe mobos. Are they selling the rev. 304 ones yet? Thanks!

Only if you order the E6300 in lots of 1000 CPUs directly from Intel.

TankGuys has it online for $212... that is only $39 above lot prices...

Would you rather go with the E6300 vs the E6600, and upgrade again in a year to whatever is mid-range then?

Also, has anyone used any of these sites in the past with respect to preorders? Any experiences, good or bad you want to share?
